Top podium spot for Stuart Dyer at Bognor Sprint Tri Latest News Racing Triathlon by Wight Tri - August 7, 2016August 2, 20170 Wight Tri had a good sweep of the prizes today at the Bognor Regis Sprint Triathlon.. Stuart Dyer had a fantastic race overall, with excellent splits for the 400m swim(6.31); posting the fastest 20km bike split of 32.16 (including both transitions) and a fast 5km run of 19.32 to take 1st place overall and finish on top of the podium in 58.19..also taking the 1st vet award. Sean Williams was always on the back foot with a slower swim of 8.59, but worked hard on the bike and run to post the 2nd fastest bike split of 32.17 and the fastest run of the day of 18.20 to finish in 59.36 to overtake several competitors to take 3rd place overall. Liz Dunlop also had a good race to finish 4th female overall and 1st vet in 1.11.43, with splits of 7.23, 3rd fastest bike split of 38.56 and a steady 25.24 run.. Kevin Winchcombe had an excellent 7.45 swim, and solid bike (39.47) and run (24.55) to finish in 1.12.27 in 31st position overall.
