15 members braved the cold weather to take part in the Colwell Duathlon, the second of the Wight Tri Winter Duathlon Series events. Starting from Colwell Bay, the competitors had a choice of a 2.2km or 4km run either side of a 16km or 26km cycle.

1st equal in the nominated event was Adam Younger and Craig Wilson who were both 45 seconds outside their nominated times, posting times of 1:39:45 and 1:27:45 for the longer course event.
Sean Williams was 3rd and also posted the fastest time overall of 1:23:52, 1:52 outside his nominated time.
The next event in the series is the East Cowes Enema Duathlon on 7th January 2018.
