Wight Tri held their penultimate Summer Splash and Dash Series race at Totland with a 650m swim followed by the choice of an out and back flat 2.25km run to Colwell Bay or a very hilly out and back 6km run along Headen Warren to Alum Bay.
1st in the nominated event was Mary Norman who completed the long course in 48:04, just 4 seconds outside her nominated time, with Sean Williams 2nd with a 5 second difference with a 41:55 split. 3rd was new member, Takuya Ikeda who finished in 45:19 and 2 mins 19secs outside his time.
Fastest male and female on the long course event were Craig Wilson in 40:15 and Jan Fletcher in 47:59 with Bernard Hartigan posting the fastest short course result of 22:33.
The next and last event of the series takes place at Yaverland on Friday 8th September.
