Wight Tri completed their Summer Splash and Dash Series with the last of the 6 events taking place at Yaverland, with a 300m swim followed by a choice of a 3 km or 6km run.

1st in the nominated event was Roy Young who completed the short course in 19mins 32 seconds, 32 seconds outside his nominated time. Sean Williams was 2nd and fastest overall in the long course, finishing in 27.35, 6mins 5 seconds inside his nominated time, with Joe Norman taken 3rd with a 6.20 difference in 31.40.
The team event was won by Steve and Anne Dines, who were 35 secs outside their 22minute nominated event.
The overall winner of the Wight Tri Summer Splash and Dash Series was Joe Norman, just overtaking Neil Cooper at the last event. Sean Williams was 3rd.
